Its all starting to come together now. I have the back welded in and I have fixed the small rust out in the lower quarter panel. I have to cut out a 2x4 inch area and weld in a new piece of sheetmetal. This was dificult to do because I had to cut back more each time I tried to weld in the new metal. I kept blowing holes into the old metal as I suppose it was kind of thin. but I got it done and there is just a little filler to smooth it all out. I added to metal roof gutter caulk to encapsulate the welds This ought to be good protection from moisture getting to the welds. I have also fitted everything else including the running board to see if everything lines up good. I am really pleased with the results!
I have just about completed the contruction on the B pillar and now I am going to finish working on the front some more.
This is the latest update that I have for now. I will be taking some time off as I have been working hard at this. Look for some more updates around July.
