Now is the time to test fit the new heater channel. I have cut out the remaining pieces. The rusty hunk of metal is a piece I will have to recreate. It goes under the bulkhead and it is a strenghtening part of the heater channel. I have place my smaller jack under the channel to support it while I was fitting it. Yes I have the door open and the pieces arenot welded in. They are clamped real good and I have the small jack under it with some wood to support it. I want ed to make sure that the door would open and close like it should. I am very pleased on the quality of the replacement pieces from aircooled.net . They fit real good and I think at this point I am about ready to weld some metal.
