Update 11 Aug 2002
This update I have finished a lot more work on the heater channel. I have welded up the rear part of the heater channel and applied some sealant to the seams and finished it off with some enamel paint. I also have painted the lower A-pillar area with some paint to finish sealing it against any further corrosion. Also I have done the same to the inside quarter panel areas.

The next series shows how I am replacing a badly rusted area on the bulkhead. I tried to fill the areas with some brazing rod, but it turned out looking like total crap. So I decided to cut the rusted metal out with my dremel tool and I formed a new piece out the old fender, welded it and fit it into the space it was going to go. Instead of replacing the whole bulkhead, which is available, I decided it would be less hassle to go ahead and just repair it!

The last series of pictures shows how I got that piece I formed all clamped into place. I started to tack weld it into place with a series of small stitch welds then I went back and tried to make some good beads. This area is such a pain in the ass to get to and my back was feeling it at the end of the day! The metal was kind of thin in this area, but I cut it back far enough to have good metal to weld to, but I think I was in a hurry or I had the welder set too high, because I kept blowing holes into the metal.
