How to Connect to UnderNet IRC and Access RAMVA Chat

 

FAQ (notes):

• IRC runs real fast!
• IRC is not ICQ
• IRC is a chain of private servers composing independent IRC networks, hence UnderNET our choice of networks
• Sometimes a server gets lagged (delayed) and all the other servers suffer, real bad connections cause netsplits, a complete recovery may take minutes or hours to recover. Changing servers is always an option.

 

How to Connect:

Download and install this program 1^st.

MIRC is the easiest IRC program and very common.

Goto http://www.mirc.com/ and download the latest version.

 

You can also use Trillian. Its my personal favorite, but it can be tricky to setup and maintain. http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/ Trillian excels with better sounds, icons, and graphical controls. Documentation and support will not be provided for Trillian at this time.

 

After the install, execute this program C:\mIRC\mirc32.exe

Its located in <Programs> <mIRC>

1. Close the “About mIRC” window
2. You will be given the “mIRC Options” window immediately. If you lose it you can find it under <Files> <Options>
